New Product: Flow-merge fmfw
The Flow-Merge FMFW is redefining industry standards with its groundbreaking design. What sets the FMFW apart is its use of a full-width ("FW") belt, ingeniously folded around an angled knife roll to form a triangular transition with another conveyor. This innovative configuration enables seamless merge or spur applications at 45- and 30-degree angles.
Designed for efficiency, the belts on the FMFW are laced and easily replaceable without the need to open the conveyor frame, significantly reducing downtime. This makes the FMFW an ideal solution for junction conveyors in baggage handling systems and other heavy-duty applications.
Advantages & Benefits of the Flow-Merge FMFW design:
Simple, Low-Maintenance Design - usable for Merge and Diverge (Spur) applications, available with 45- and 30-degree angles
Reliable Operation - FMFW belts don’t require as much tension as other merge belts, the short and symmetric design improves belt tracking. Tracking adjustments can easily be made with snub rollers. Speeds of up to 400 FPM.
Large “Between Frame” (BF) Width Range - standard widths from 36” to 61.5”; other widths available upon request
Transfer Rollers - 2’’ dia transfer rollers instead of small radius static nosebars to have lower friction and energy usage, lower belt temperatures, and longer belt life
Laced Belting - Laced belts allow for a quick and easy belt replacement. Other maintenance, such as pully replacements can be completed with minimum downtime
Small Footprint - FMFW merges do not require special belt tracking stations, minimizing the required footprint. Motors are shaft-mounted on the long side
